Become Jane Austen
When I see the actre who plays the role of Jane Austen, I am surprised that she has almost the same appearance as Elizabeth and Scarlett (Gone with the wind) in my heart.She is polite、independent and intelligent.Jane‟s life is a little unfortunate.She is on behalf of those women who ask for freedom of marriage and want to get out of the restraints to women.She elopes with Mr.Thomas Lefroy twice but finally she failed for some reasons.In the end, Jane Austen becomes a famous writer without marriage and Lefroy has a succeful career as a lawyer and become Lord Chief Justice of Ireland and he names his eldest daughter Jane.I‟m pity for Jane as she can only give the characters in her novels a happy end.
Jane Bennet‟s life is what Jane Austen dreams of.She hopes that she can marry with who she loves instead of the money.That Mr.Bingley and Jane fall in love with each other in the first sight in the ball reflects what Jane Austen feels when she joins the second ball of Lady Gresham and spends time with Lefroy.It‟s a beautiful wish of herself and Lefroy.In addition, Elizabeth and
Darcy quite represent the fate of Jane and Lefroy except Elizabeth and Darcy have a happy ending.Elizabeth thinks Darcy is very haughty and disagreement, which is the similar to Jane‟s
diatisfied with Lefroy at the beginning.But finally Elizabeth recognizes Darcy and gets married.On the contrary, Jane doesn‟t marry with Lefroy as he has heavy responsibilities for his family and friends so he needs to inherit his uncle‟s property.
The movie explains why some character‟s personality is so in the novels.It makes Pride And Prejudice interesting to me, and I think I really get a motivation to read the novel.

Bolt is a dog who thinks everything in his film world is true, and in the film he has super strength.He never doubts he is a common dog and he trusts that he is born with a birthmark in the shape of a lightning bolt.He has the responsibility to protect Penny, his person in the movie, and fight with evil.
One day, Penny has a DVD release junket.So she lefts Bolt along in the house.When a
worker inspects some scene of the movie where there are Penny‟s crying for help.And it surprises Bolt and makes he misunderstand that Penny is cached by green eye man.So, Bolt begins his adventure for saving Penny from evil.In the adventure, Bolt meets Mittens, a cat experiencing a miserable career as actre and knowing lots, Rhino, a hamster and Bolt‟s fan.With the help of Mittens, Bolt realizes that he isn‟t the thunder Bolt---- the super dog.He knows that he is just a dog that will be hungry and blooding.The proce of awarene is crazy and heartbroken.Finally, Bolt saves Penny in the fire.And they choose to quit filming, and live together.
It‟s rough to become a hero.But what is much more difficult is to accept the reverse from a
hero to a ordinary people.When Bolt loses his heart as he understands he is just a common dog and he thinks he can do nothing succefully, Rhino says to him:
” Because all over this planet, there are animals who feel like they can‟t.Like a little hamster that once spent his days in an RV park, dreaming of the day when he, too, would save a little girl from danger and be told, “You did it.You did it, Rhino.You saved the day.”
“They need a hero, Bolt.Someone who, no matter what the odds, will do what‟s right.” “They need a hero to tell them that sometimes the impoible can become poible if you‟re awesome!”
Bolt repays:” Well, you‟re right about one thing, Rhino .Mittens does need a hero, and I gue I„ll have to do.
I think what Rhino says exprees the strength of heroes.Heroes give their ordinary partners dreams about them being heroes.Just as the Jim Braddock, a character in Cinderella Man.
Except the feel above, there are much thought contained in the movie.Though Bolt is just a cartoon, in my opinion, it is more meaningful than many so-called great film works.

In today’s CNN Student News, the friction between china and Japan around the Diao Yu Island was mentioned in the “shout out” column.It introduced the location、areas、environment and natural resources of the island and present situation in the East China Sea.
The news remains me of where the problem comes from and what attitudes we should hold on.Besides the official announcement and historic problem, in my opinion, the dispute is produced in the recent 40 years.
In 1972, USA gave island back to Japan which had been in the charge of America before, and USA illegally added Diao Yu Island into the list.They may want to create a gap between China and Japan so that Japan will ask for their help which means that they can have reasonable excuse backing to this area----- the West Pacific.And at that time, Chinese must have against the convention, but with the limited national force, china government had to put the territory confliction aside and boost the cooperation with Japan and USA.The incident was ended.In about 1986, Japan built a lighthouse an the island and sent a Japan national flag to it.Chinese people are very angry about their illegal behaviors, so, a lot of demonstration took place in China.However, China was still not strong enough.We could only expre our diatisfactions while we can do nothing.
Today, China is much stronger than before, so we needn‟t tolerate all the defiance from Japan, we should do something to protect our territory safety.Our compromising in the past gives Japan many proofs that can prove the island belongs to them.So, this time, we have to get Diao Yu Island back completely, otherwise, in the next time, Japan government will say:” The Senkaku Island belongs to the state, its name is Japan!”

As the saying goes “If one idles away his time, youth will fade away and life will run out on him”.
This is a few days ago of movie , The Graduate.It’s really an educational movie.I learn a lot from it.After graduating from college, The protagonist Ben, an outstanding man, might have had a promising life.But he was confused about his future.He didn’t know what he want and what he need clearly.He mied himself .He made a mistake that he couldn’t resist the temptation from one of his father’s friend, an middle aged woman.More ridiculous, he fell in love with the woman’s daughter.It’s unbelievable and ironic for us.
When we lose our dream, we may make mistake easily.We can lose a lot but ourselves.We should always know what we want.There may be many kinds of temptation waiting for us but we should say “no” to them.We are rational creatures.We can recognize which one is right.
At the end of the movie, Ben made a right choices.He got what he want.We always make mistakes.We should face them and try our best to make up the loes.

This is a powerful, hilarious and deeply moving story, told against the backdrop of a critical juncture in modern history, of the emergence of a deep friendship out of a profeional relationship between two men who would otherwise never have socially interacted.The screenplay, written by David Seidler (who also wrote Tucker: The Man and his Dream), is excellent.The dry British wit is hilarious.I was literally slapping my knee during some of the scenes.Tom Hooper (Elizabeth I) does a superb job directing this movie.The buildup to the climactic finale is skillfully executed and prompted the audience to erupt into spontaneous applause.(Apparently, this also happened at the Roy Thomson Hall premiere.) Geoffrey Rush (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) does a fantastic job as Lionel Logue and Colin Firth (A Single Man) is excellent as King George VI.
I saw the second public screening of this movie at the Ryerson Theater during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).Tom Hooper was present to introduce the movie.He was joined by Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush after the movie ended for a brief Q&A.
It turns out that David Seidler also had a stuttering problem as a child and drew inspiration from the king"s struggle.Early in his career he wanted to write a screenplay about it.He dutifully asked the Queen Mother for permiion.She agreed but told him \"not in my lifetime\".Little did he know she would live to be 101 and he would have to wait another 30 years.
Another interesting tidbit we learned was that near the end of the shoot, the crew finally located one of Lionel Logue"s grandsons, who just so happened to live about 10 minutes away from the director.They got acce to Lionel"s diaries and correspondence and managed to incorporate some of it into the script.This movie is an unqualified must see.

Gua Sha is a movie concerning conflicts between American and Chinese culture.Xu Datong has got career achievements after lived 8 years in America.Unexpectedly, a incident has made this happy family in great trouble.The 5-year-old son, Dennis, gets stomach-ache, and the old grandpa has done the traditional treatment, Gua Sha to Dennis, which has inevitably left bruise on the skin.Subsequently, the bruise has become evidence of child abuse.Westerners cannot understand this traditional treatment at all.In order to get Dennis home, Xu Datong has to move out.Finally, with the help of his friend this family tragedy has finished.

“Scrape” is indeed a good film for us to see.When I was seeing the film, I was touched by its wonderful plot.The film narrates that the main character named Xu Datong came to America 8 years ago and he realized his American Dream.He has a succeful career and a happy family, everything is going well.But one day, he was told that his son was maltreated by himself.The truth is that his son Denis has a fever and a stomachache, but his grandfather can’t understand the English instructions on the medicine bottle.Therefore, he uses the traditional Chinese medicine therapy “Guasha” to cure his grandson, which becomes the evidence of the father’s abuse to his son.And the traditional Chinese therapy “Guasha” seems to be the tool that is used to maltreat children in the eyes of foreigners.In China, scrape is a very normal thing for people to accept, and why it becomes so complicated and difficult for foreigners to acknowledge the traditional Chinese therapy.Facing with the new explanation of traditional Chinese culture and moral standard by prosecution lawyer, Xu Datong loses his mind and is hard to calm down.The judge announces to exploit his right of guardianship over his son.And he is not allowed to meet his son and he is very angry at the time of the scene.When the defense lawyer of the opposite talks about the role named “Monkey King”, we can see that many foreigners are unfamiliar with the Chinese culture.
Analyzing from the aspect of Chinese and Western’s thoughts, the
western countries are controlling the world with their strong economic and military strength, and they try to centralize unify the western model of the civilized world.Therefore, they start to smear and debase other civilization pattern.The western society is never research extensive and profound Chinese culture seriously and they don’t know more about the Chinese culture.As a result, foreigners are unable to understand “Guasha” in the movie.As we all know, thoughts of western people are more open than us, but they can’t accept the thing without any scientific proof.
In the aspect of education, when the Chinese parents deal with the fight between two children, they will educate their own child firstly, while the western parents will respect the truth.So Xu Datong’s action to educate his son is seen as violence even abuse.The traditional Chinese notion is that parents give birth to their child and they have the right to educate them well, other people are with no right to interfere.However, parents are just legal guardian to their children in America, and they have no right to scold their kids and to say nothing of fight their children.Therefore, the Chinese notion of education is rather different from the western notion of education,
Legally, America is a legal system country, law exists in the every corner and every dispute can be solved by the way of law.They emphasize on the truth and evidence.Finally, Xu Datong was announced
to leave his son, according to law, the court’s adjudication is right.But many Chinese people are unable to accept it, which we can see the difference between China and America.We have to acknowledge that American people emphasize personal rights; they use law and social institutions to limit people’s action, especially to the protection of juveniles.They think everyone is equal and has their own rights.We can learn something good from American law.
In conclusion, cro-cultural communication may have some conflicts.In order to reach the agreement, we should learn to respect other different cultural customs in the proce of cultural communicating.We need to have tolerant attitude, and eliminate national prejudice and adhere to the principle of equal culture.

I always thought that TV series was not my cup of tea ,
because It is too long to finish it.And it will take up a lot of time.But yesterday I found an amazing TV series called Prison Break.It is the most interesting TV series that I have ever seen.You will never gue what will happen in the following time.Don’t you think so?
Prison Break revolves around two brothers.One named
Lincoln burrows who had been sentenced to death for a crime but he did not commit.And the other one named Michael, a genius engineer, who devised an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison.He prepared everything perfectly for three years.He pretended to rob a bank for going into the prison, he wanted to save his older brother who was framed up and nearly to receive death penalty.The prison is Fox River.Security is very heavily.It is known to all that it should be a team work, and Michael
succeeded at persuading the people he needed to do him a fever.It is really a hard job but Michael carried out it! Although Michael happened to meet plenty of accidents and admitted several extra men who were out of the plan, he was intelligent, calm, decisive, kind and has a charmed personality so as to control the general
situation.The most excellent point is every step Michael did to escape from jail.All the things must be done in three months, or his brother Lincoln barrows would be sent to the electric chair.How tensional it is! Next he according to my plan implemented step by step.But things were not so simple.It is becoming more and more complex.But finally Michael came over all the difficulties and escaped succefully from this Prison.

Today, we visited Changsha Jiandu Museum under the organization of the teacher.We visited museum by instructor using English step by step all the time.Part of whose cultural relics and histories made a deep impreion on me.First, I was impreed by the wooden peg, sealing Jane.Then we saw a bamboo slip is how to do including some stationeries of the ancients.There are five steps about making wooden peg, preparation, on-chip solution and scraping, fixing (the glue), partial linking, writing.This made me feel the complexity and hard-won of making wooden peg, but also lamented the wisdom and family labor of the ancients.Then you read some text tools of the ancients, and modification tool as well as the current correction fluid.
